He has extensive leadership experience in information technology projects, IT maintenance and service, and retail store operations. These leadership experiences cross multiple business capabilities from sales management, to customer service, to inventory control, to payroll and administrative systems. He has led multiple large-scale projects, directly impacting the success of his Retail and Consumer Product Goods clients.

He Joined EDS Malaysia (now HP) an American outsourcing company, managing Aeon/Jusco IT department as a client CIO after returning to Malaysia early 2005, under a government program to call back professionals working abroad.
Mr. Johari planned and managed all AEON (Jusco) IT related functions in Jusco’s business, including its business process. In his role as client CIO, Jusco grew from 6 stores to 26 stores at a tremendous speed after implementing new processes and systems. While delivering IT Services for AEON, Mr. Johari also worked with EDS’ global Consumer and Retail Industry group study the retail industry and its biggest players such as Wal-Mart, 7-11, Target and assorted European retailers. From this relationship, he was charged with the task to search and implement new business models for key areas within the local and state government in Japan.
Recognized as a retail industry professional, he is actively involved with the latest developments in the industry by being a member of several business networking clubs and entities locally and internationally.
Mr. Johari holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the Kyushu Institute of Technology, Fukuoka, Japan. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Kyushu Institute of Technology, Fukuoka, Japan.
